工作坊簡介
現今社會無論是商業、醫療、保安、軍事等各方面都有極多的人工智能應用。而生成藝術就是其中一種最熱門的人工智能應用。知名的Teamlab和NFT及眾多的電話應用程式都是一些例子。本課程會教導python程式編寫，並用以創作一系列生成藝術作品。了解人工智能及生成藝術的基礎知識有助開闊學生的視野，並裝備他們將來進深學習或工作規劃。
工作坊目標
這課程會教導人工智能及生成藝術的基礎理論及應用。並會教導學員python程式編寫及不同編碼以創作不同生成藝術。
目標對象
對人工智能及程式編寫感興趣的學生。
課程導師
謝信謙先生
科學世界有限公司之高級導師。擁有工程學學士學位，曾於跨國公司任職工程師兩年多；後轉職科學世界，任職兼職導師近十年、任全職導約兩年，專門負責設計及教授人工智能課程、生成藝術等課程，亦教授各種機械人及3D打印課程。對教授STEM課程甚富經驗，曾服務多間學校及機構。亦曾主持26集關於科學的電台擴播節目-“科學世界”，並於香港電台數碼31台播出。
謝志庭先生
科學世界有限公司之學術總監，科學世界有限公司曾贏得由新城電台及香港電腦商會合辦之《香港傑出數碼品牌大獎2017-「傑出STEM培訓中心」》大獎。擁有工程學碩士學位，亦於教師文憑中獲得A級成績，曾於跨國公司任職工程師；後任教超過三十年，至數學科科主任，任教經驗包括中學、任教中大校外課程二年多及短期任教師範學院(現香港教育大學)。現建立科學世界有限公司，負責學術發展及設計多個科學課程，並服務多間學校及機構。
現有為香港資優教育學苑設計及教導科學課程，為其教導資優兒童達4年。亦曾主持及籌辦26集關於科學的電台擴播節目-“科學世界”，並於香港電台數碼31台播出。曾於2022至2024年出版三本科幻小說，並主講兩場由香港科學館及香港共公圖書館主辦的講座。

Workshop Description
Nowadays Artificial Intelligence has wide applications in business (eg. virtual banking, electronic payment), medical (eg. cancer diagnosis), security, military and other areas. Generative Arts is one of the hottest issue among various AI applications. You can see its usage in TeamLab, various NFT and different mobile apps. This program will teach python programming to create various generative arts. Understanding the basic concepts of Generative Arts and AI will broadly widen the vision of students and equipped them with power tools in future career planning.
Workshop Objectives
Teach children the basic concept of artificial intelligence (big data, cloud computing, deep learning) and generative arts. Start from teaching python to create various generative arts. This program aims to provide students the basic concepts of how to create generative arts.
Target Participants / Prerequisite
P6-P4 students who are interested in coding and technologies.
Workshop Instructors
Mr. Tse Shun Him, Jonathan
Jonathan Tse, a programme designer of Science World Limited graduated with a degree in Engineering (BEng (Hons)). He has been an engineer in a listed company for two and a half year. Afterwards, he has been a full-time instructor in Science World Limited for about 2 years and had been a part-time instructor for almost 10 years, mainly responsible for the development of Artificial Intelligence course content, generative arts and teaching corresponding STEM program. He also has experience in teaching other STEM programs such as robotics and 3D printing. In addition, he served as the host and a committee member in RTHK CIBS radio broadcast program.
Mr. Tse Chi Ting, Felix
Academic director of Science World Limited which had won the “Hong Kong Digital Brand Awards 2017 - Outstanding STEM education centre” (elected by The Chamber of H.K. Computer Industry and Metro Broadcast Corporation Limited). Hold a Master degree in Electrical engineering and got distinction in Post-graduate Certificate of Education. Had been an engineer in an international listed company in early career and become a teacher for about 30 years afterwards. Teaching experience include teaching in secondary school (panel chairman of mathematics committee), teaching in the School of Continuing Studies of the CUHK (now CUSCS) for more than two years and short-term teaching in the Hong Kong Technical Teacher College (now Education University of Hong Kong).
Currently established “Science World Limited” and responsible for academic development and design of science programs. Science World Limited had served many schools and organizations.Have designed and taught science programs (forensic science, food science, renewable energy) for gifted children in the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education for four years (on-going). Also had run and host a radio broadcasted program (26 episodes) about science “Science World” broadcasted in RTHK DAB 31. Was also the author of three science fictions published in 2022 & 2024. The guest speaker in two public talks arranged by Hong Kong Science Museum and Hong Kong Public Libraries in Nov. 2023.
