- 活動:
動手實踐基本魔法戲法。就戲法背後的科學原理進行小組討論。

- 內容:
介紹運動、力和重力的原理。
示範漂浮戲法及其科學解釋。
進行手動活動以探索運動的物理學。
- 活動:
參與者表演漂浮戲法並討論其背後的物理學原理。
小組實驗以示範牛頓運動定律。

- 時間:1小時
- 內容:
介紹光學、反射和折射的原理。
示範鏡子幻術和光的戲法。

Jarvis是一位熱衷於教育和魔術的實踐者,擁有超過15年的魔術教學和表演經驗。他擁有北京師範大學物理學士學位、香港中文大學物理碩士學位,並且目前是香港大學教育學院數學、科學和科技系的博士研究生。Jarvis熱衷於將科學與魔術相結合,以激發學生的學習興趣。
Jarvis致力於通過魔術藝術培養學生的創造力和批判性思維。他新穎的教學方法和引人入勝的講座激發了無數學生探索科學與魔術的迷人交匯點。

Introduction to the programme and its objectives.
Overview of the history of magic and its connection to science.
Basic principles of magic and how they relate to scientific concepts.
Interactive demonstration of simple magic tricks with scientific explanations.
- Activities:
Hands-on practice with basic magic tricks.
Group discussion on the science behind the tricks.

The Physics of Motion
- Duration: 1 hour
- Content:
Introduction to the principles of motion, force, and gravity.
Demonstration of levitation tricks and their scientific explanations.
Hands-on activities to explore the physics of motion.
- Activities:
Participants perform levitation tricks and discuss the underlying physics.
Group experiments to demonstrate Newton's laws of motion.

Optics and Light
- Duration: 1 hour
- Content:
Introduction to the principles of optics, reflection, and refraction.
Demonstration of mirror illusions and light tricks.
Explanation of how these principles are used in magic.

Hands-on activities with mirrors and light sources.

Reflection on the whole lesson and give a short talk on themselves about personal performance.

Mr. Jarvis
Jarvis is a dedicated educator and magician with over 15 years of experience in teaching and performing magic. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Beijing Normal University, a Master’s degree in Physics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Unit of Mathematics, Science and Technology from faculty of Education at The University of Hong Kong. Jarvis has a passion for integrating science and magic to make learning engaging and fun. Jarvis is committed to fostering creativity and critical thinking in students through the art of magic. His innovative teaching methods and engaging presentations have inspired countless students to explore the fascinating intersection of science and magic.
